Individuals whose jobs put them in the line of danger and tragedy pay a price for their dedication and commitment to protecting the public. The mission of the HOPE for Heroes Program at Oakwood Springs is to change the lives of active-duty military, veterans, first responders (including police officers, firefighters, paramedics, EMTs) and their families by delivering innovative and evidence-based treatment designed to address the unique needs of this population.

Specialized Treatment for Heroes

The Hope for Heroes Program was created to address the unique needs of military personnel, veterans and first responders. Through our specialized treatment track, individuals can overcome challenges brought on by repeated exposure to stress and trauma in the line of duty. Inpatient and outpatient treatment is available for a wide range mental health challenges including:

  • Combat stress
  • PTSD
  • Trauma
  • Addiction
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Psychiatric disorders
  • Grief & loss
